Corey Torpie is a Queens, New York based photographer, organizer, and educator. She has been the lead photographer for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez since 2018. She is working on a long term project documenting the role of women and non-binary leaders in Community Organizing. 

Corey has been photographing weddings for over 15 years. 

She has a strong commitment to building community through education and photography - most recently as a lead teacher at The International Center of Photography's community programs at The Point in Hunts Point, teaching darkroom photography to preteens.

Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, The Washington Post, New York Magazine and more.

She is available for assignments and commissions.
